Lawrence Cove Baptist Church was founded in 1884

The first building was built on Lawrence Cove Road. The present building was built in 1957 on Pine Burr Road next to the cemetery after a tornado destroyed the old building. The cemetery dates back to the 1820's. All this information was found in the church minutes.
